Definitely early models used alloy master cylinder the went to plastic after. If you look at the link if it is from a GT250 then up to 380 only.

They also fitted these to the 750K,
But would have been a different size.

drfeelgood wrote:Happy New Year friends. Quick question. I've acquired a really good all alloy, ribbed front master cylinder reservoir from what I'm told came off a GT 250. Did other size GT's use this alloy part? What year / model was also fitted with this? Best wishes, Jules
Fitted to all J and K models with a single disc ( Except the 750 which had a larger diameter bore unit)

The US market 550K I sold last year was made in August '72 (still technically a J then) and had one of those master cylinders, so due to the vagaries of the dating systems I will be magnon mignoon mignone, I'll let you have that one!
