tank sealant

Post by Gt380ccc »

hi all

I have had a tank sealant product in my tank for around 3 years, its called tank cure, comes in the light yellow tins.

no problems for a good while but now have a pin hole leak which appears to be on the seam to the rear of the tank, question is, would it be possible to just drain the tank, flush out with water etc and just pour in a new tin of the same product, don't what to use the sealant stripper as the paintwork is A1..

thanks

john
