:tw hi guys ,my oil pump ,arm dosent return on it's own it stays near the setup mark untill throttle moves it ,but it wont return to the off position to the left ,the return spring seems ok ,if I help it ,it goes back ,I've taken the arm and the spring off and cleaned them ,I've looked for a new return spring but cant find a part number ,on Robinson it doesn't show a part number for the arm and the spring ,any ideas guys

Does it return okay with the cable disconnected ? Might be the cable .

turn the engine over and it will return back.

:tw oh really oh cheers ,,I took the arm off to clean the arm and spring ,I rotated the centre spindle ,is there a right or wrong way I could have put that on wrong would you know . Cheers for the advice .

The oil pump arm only returns with every 62 rotations of the crankshaft. If you try to force it back it will damage it. Thats why Suzuki covered it up to stop owners wirrying about it :D

:tw really barney, grrrrrr ,I'm sure my m and k went right back, straight away, but thanks for that ,I took the arm off and spring ,and I moved the spindle ,you cant put it back wrong can you, it seems the same as it was now ,i will try turning the engine over ,I have no carbs on at the moment. As I said turn the engine over and it will return.
