The oil seal can be replaced from the outside without removing the entire pump

I have never heard of this seal failing. There is another seal on the top shaft that can leak and can be replaced. Do you have a problem with the seal?

Hello, I have no problem, I reconstructed the engine, new pistons I also checked the functionality of the valves and everything is ok, I bought the pump oring and the oil seal I thought of substitutions this, but the appearance is good then like you you suggest better not to replace. I ask you one thing, I also bought new aluminum valve washers, the original ones are Teflon and have no leaks, do you think it's better that you leave your originals?

Aluminium washers are better. Best to use new ones
