1976 GT550 L Key Ignition

I want to replace my 550 ignition because the last guy drilled it out.. literally. I loosened the gauges and found that the ignition wires go into the headlight back, I hear this is a real pain to get apart/back together. Once I am inside there is it just plug and play or do I have to splice wires and whatnot? Also, what is the proper ignition to replace it with? I see there are minor differences across eBay with reproduction switches although the only listed OEM part I can find is listed for the K and not the L.

Thank you!

AFAIK all 380 and 550 had six wires the 750 has four wires.

Ok so the advice is beware of incorrect repo parts, I was going by the first website link which is selling supposed earlier ignitions and show four wires.
