Re: Dunstall
I like those rearsets. I used a pair of Hyabusa pegs on special mounts on mine.

Yours look more period appropriate. How anyone rides a Dunstall with low bars and stock pegs is beyond me. They must be incredibly uncomfortable.

He used to steer it with his knees.

Re: Dunstall
Not quite 7 feet tall but certainly taller than your average UK Dunstall rider
I always found the standard footrest positioning okay and it kept weight off my wrists.
Unfortunately in the later years my dodgy back let me down and in the end the bike had to go ....in favour of sit up and beg position.

I had two stroke's and survived.

Re: Dunstall
Sore back is exactly what you get with stock pegs and low bars.
Really low bars and pegs too far back put a lot more weight on wrists, so ergonomics are important for those of us over shall we say 35 years old and I am very much over that age....

Mmm. Same on my 550A 'Earwig'. Bit higher bars might sort that out.
At this rate, I'll never get the Dunstall kit on a 550.....

Just fit rearsets to go with the lower than stock bars and you will look young and sophisticated and stylish.
If none of those are you, at least you will be able to cover lots of miles in comfort.

Re: Dunstall
None of those are Alan I can assure you.
More like old, common and scruffy.
It'll take more than rearsets and low handlebars.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Re: Dunstall
Not wanting to upset anyone (for a change) but I hated my Dunstall Kettle. It was uncomfortable and rattled and it didn’t even look nice with the tank/seat cover abomination. I sold mine and put it back to standard.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
