Re: JUST JOINED
Welcome to the madhouse Chris. If you do a search (quick links, just under the radiator top left) there's a couple of very different takes on TR750 projects including fuel injection, reeds, etc.
Or just click this - search.php?keywords=Tr750&terms=all&aut ... mit=Search

Chris,
Welcome. We need more crazy people with great projects. Where can we see and read more about the bike? Is that a Curtis frame kit by any chance?

Re: JUST JOINED
That is really nice. Downdraft inlets and flatslides on a J/K barrel sitting on later model crankcases. Looks like bump only with kicker blanked off, but still has the oil pump, so some of the shaft and pump gears must still be inside. Alternator cover hints at a slim alternator or maybe slim to none, like my chances of building one...and the frame is most interesting.
Subframe and swingarm from late model GSXR perhaps. Pipe flanges look nice with O rings to keep the black gunge on the inside. Steering head looks nice and stiff and the main loops are shaped like a TR750, but what is it?
And how did you stiffen the frame around teh swingarm pivot to manage the much higher lateral stresses from that swingarm/wheel combo?
I love what you did with it.

Re: JUST JOINED
Hi - Thank you for the kind words.
Engine by BDK - Squish heads etc
Frame/Tank etc by CMR (Hybrid TR750 for GSXR600 running gear)
Pipes Jim Lomas
Everything is powder coated
I kept the electric start and took a good deal of the gear train out to lighten it.
Its got a permanent magnet generator from a T350 as its half the size and weight - on the other side it has the accent ignition again in a machined down casing... its all very narrow.
The frame design and dynamics are by CMR Ont, Canada.
