Once again

Post by Alan H »

I'd like to remind folks from the less important counties - basically all those that aren't Yorkshire, that today is YORKSHIRE DAY - which is exactly four months after lancashire day, which for those who can't add up, is April 1st - all fool's day....
And as for all the suv'n carntees..... .

So how do you celebrate Yorkshire day? An audit perhaps to ensure that no money has
been spent in the 12 months since the last one perhaps?

We don't have to celebrate it. Just being smug where we live is enough. 8-)

I read yesterday that Yorkshire has had to be split into four shires, because the natives keep falling out about money ;)

And I read that Lincolnshire is sunnier, warmer, drier, friendlier and has better biking roads, and we don't need a special day to remind us ;) :D
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
