Gawd knows what this one will be named - never had a M model before, but doubtless it'll not be standard when it's done. Emma? Hmmm.
Looks likely........ Seems to be the logical name, so there it is!
Last ved ran out 31st October 1985, 37 years ago almost to the day. I'll have to check stock, but I don't think it'll be running anytime soon though.......
Emma the 'M' model.

Re: Never again project?
The trouble with 'shoulda known better' or 'last ever' stuff is that we always try 'just one more'.
Like our recent scuba diving trip to Gozo (near Malta), which was the 'last ever dive trip to Gozo - again', I think for the 4th time.....
First one was in 1990 and I think this one was about number 13 or 14!!!
I've already been asked if I'll run another 'last ever' trip next year.

Very philosophical Alan! I guess it will be the ‘last one’ one day so until
then keep striving but never arriving.

Re: Never again project?
Well M is home, exactly 37 years to the day when the last VED was due.
Wonder how much effort a 600+cc engine would be?
And these bits that just 'happen' to be in my possession fitted? To make it a bit like.... with these that came back with M, instead of the HAF standard exhaust...... Al hatter havva luke in the stash to see what else is in there.
A nice set of GS550 alloys and 3 discs might be on the agenda too, similar to Earwig.
Standard build? In yer dreams.........

Re: Never again project?
That was originally on 'Earwig' when I bought that one - 1st page of this thread - viewtopic.php?t=5620&hilit=earwig
I had it cleaned & ceramic coated and then it went on the green 550K when I went to the classic TT in 2015. Bloody noisy, so may need seeing to a bit. No restriction in performance, despite what some people say, but there again, hardly weighs anything. I'll weigh it and a full standard exhaust soon as a comparison!
