Condenser 380 GT

Post by arthur »

Are all 12volt condensers the same?
could I use a classic mini one instead of a Suzuki style OEM?
There are so many stray sparks in the points you would think the Mael brothers had moved in

GT380 Service manual states that the condensers on the ignition system have condensers with a capacity of 0.16 µF to 0.20 µF.

I have some spare used ones if you need 'proper' ones that fit!
Post a pic of your points plate so we can identify the correct type.

That's the Nippon Denso points set.
If you look on here - https://alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm - and choose year, model, and parts area, it shows exactly the parts in there & an excellent 'exploded' diagram.
