Exhaust gaskets
Have removed my gt 750 A exhaust pipes. Will obviously have to replace with new gaskets but which are the best ones to buy? Are the copper ones or fibre and metal ones better? I did fit some of the latter ones but they leaked for some reason. Any preferences ?

Re: Exhaust gaskets
Can't recall seeing copper exhaust washers, I've only ever used the metal and fibre type (many times) on my kettle, and never had a problem Hope this helps.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Are they the same each side or is a side you gave to put in towards the block?

It doesn't matter which way around you fit them. If you are getting leaks, make sure you have removed any carbon from the seats in the block. Also make sure the collars are evenly nipped up to leave a 1-2 mm gap before you tighten the rear mount bolts.

Ps, I think that’s what I did wrong. I did the rear fixing bolt up tight before doing up the collar nuts.
