handlebar switches

i need to re-paint the handlebar switches,would anyone know which is the best colour match for the original black ? matt,satin etc

Ye satin powder coat looks fine But how are you going to do the detail orange writing!

Did some last year, had the bodys satin powder coated ( Redditch Shot blasting cheers Paul ) and used Revell enamel gloss orange number 30 for the lettering.

I did mine last year and used a satin aerosol, then used a fine modelers brush , with 2 ounces of patience it should be alright.

Do agree with you on the patience needed didge, a couple of tips is to not attemped the letter painting the morning after a night on the pop, but if you do as I did and a cock up is made then let it nearly dry and lightly wipe the mistakes away with a cloth dampened with white sprits. Have a go its not all that hard.

THANKS for that info i was going to use art masking fluid to protect the lettering then peel it off when the black paint is dry,should work in theory !!!
