You could have mentioned the invisible mirrors, or that the two outer clamps look different finwise, Paul.mark.read3 wrote:So has this one Paul , look closer at the engine (big clue).PaulD738 wrote:Very pretty, it makes my J look rather dull but at least mine has the correct finned exhaust clamps fitted
I won't though, cos Marks bigger than me and can run faster what with my knackered knee!

Mark, your in luck,I have a pair of NOS continental mirrors !!! still have the blue film on the back of them,,,,,,
If your interested send me a PM, and we can discus a price,,,,,,although if you have already agreed a price for the bike, the mirrors could be a bit costly, and you may not be able to get their cost back, but hey,let me know anyway.

Hi Paul,
Usually genuine mirrors, for use in the UK, are magnified slightly on the right hand side to make it appear vehicles behind appear closer. The left hand side isn't. In Europe they are the other way around.
Regards
Martin.

Very good Martin, but you forgot the other difference,,,,,,,,,
The left hand mirror European spec, has a slightly longer arm, between the bend, and the mirror,
ON UK ones,it is the other way around,,,,,,,,

Re: 750 J
I wondered why the mirrors on that Kettle you flogged me were odd.
I think I'll fit bar end mirrors anyway........
Ran nice today with Lynn on as we went all round Derbyshire with Richard as guide.
