You're right Alan we used to say that if you smelled them you'd wet the bed!!!!my French neighbours eat the leaves like lettuce, mind you they also eat pigs head patte and a dish that looks like dog sick called cassouletAlan H wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 11:12 pm Well, locally dandelions were known as 'pissbeds,' so that follows, although dandelion is from the french 'dent de lion' or translated, 'tooth of lion,' which is supposed to represent the shape of the leaves of the plant.
Although after an afternoon pulling the bl33ders out of a 'garden' loses on the amusement side despite being true.
Sadly, I didn't have to look those facts up.....

Re: Kick start
Hi all
Recently purchased a rebuilt 750 A model, electric start sometimes doesn’t work straight away, no noise whatsoever.
If I try to kick it over, I’m finding it really hard to turn over off the side stand, nowhere near enough to start the bike.
After a couple of pushes on the kick start, the electric starter then works.
1) why would the kickstart be so hard
2) is there any mechanical connection between the kick and electric starts?
Thanks for any reply
Mike
