Hello All,
Had to strip down the RH carb on my GT750A due to a running issue (found a holed float which I've replaced)
I checked over the other jets and thought I'd replace the O-ring on the emulsion tube
Got the O-ring from NRP so confident it's the right size
However, I cannot get the emulsion tube to slide all the way into the carb body (hanging up on the O-ring)
What's the best way of getting the tube into place?
Thanks!

Fit the float bowl. It will pull the emulsion tube up into the correct position.
That assumes you got all of the old O ring out and that you have correct Suzuki tiny little O rings.

I tried this and kept damaging (shearing) the O-ring
The O-rings I was sent are 6mm OD and 4mm ID, are these the wrong size?
Can you still buy OEM O-rings from Suzuki?

Yes. At least you could, last time I needed some. I usually buy them in a bag of 10. That way I can afford to let a few of the little second-rate swines run away and hide as they tend to.
You may want to very lightly chamfer the hole in the body of the carb and break the sharp edge on the emulsion tube. They tend to have sharp edges and that may be the issue. obviously don't take off any more metal that absolutely necessary to remove any sharp edges.
4x3 sounds right.

Appreciate the help and feedback
I ordered some OEM O-rings from Robinsons and they turned up today
Look a smaller OD than the others I purchased
I'll measure the size later and post

Measured the OEM O-rings
5.2mm OD x 1mm cross section
Fitted today so will see how the bike runs!
