Hes been charged 260. new seals fitted it took 3 hours and they did it whilst he waited.
They said it had been badly fitted and this caused the damage , im lending him John Storries engine rebuild video to help him. Hes very thankfull for your help on here.
Ill keep you posted of his progress.

Re: gearbox oil leak
Hi Guys my mate has got his kettle running again and the oiling up and gearbox leaks are now cured.
However he now has an issue with carbs when he attempts to apply a tickover speed the engine picks up and begins running away ie the revs begin to increase on thier own untill he has to cut the engine as the revs become very high.
Ive just got an MOT on my A today and im going for a spin in the morning with Marc Lloyd if its all ok im going to let him borrow my carbs to eliminate the issue .
If anyone on here knows the reason why that would be great.
Ive had a tidy up today does anyone want a luggage rack not genuine for free
also free taper roller headstock bearings new in box.
also free battery box rusty.
PM me if your interested.

Re: gearbox oil leak
Just let Baz sort the carbs out. The only thing he'll have to do is set the tickover and they look ace. I've had several sets done (550 + Hippo) by him and am very pleased.
