check valves
hello ive got an oil leak problem on my 750 m its leaking from underneath the alternator its two stroke oil and i cannot fathom out how its getting there, im going to change the check valves i bought five together from the internet and a single one, the problem is the single one is has a larger diameter outlet im guessing this will reduce pressure but will it matter? so three questions, wheres the leak from? will new valves cure it?

Re: check valves
I think you will find that oil in that cavity can only come from the crank seal.
Check valves can and do leak and typically result in some oil in the crankcases which leads usually to lots of blue smoke until it's burned off. Check you crankcases though to make sure there are no cracks or leaks from the far right check valve just to be sure.
