Help!! Oil Pump

Post by Eastham »

I’ve asked a few times on here regarding my GT185 and the low 2T oil consumption, the level in the tank never seems to move, admittedly I don’t do loads of miles, but have put a few 100 on the clock lately and yet the level has not noticeable moved.

I have a spare pump and lines (bought of flea bay) so is there any way of testing that pump without fitting to the bike?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers
Victor 😉

I made an adaptor set up for the 550 with an alloy base and the spider + pump on. Run it via a battery drill (in reverse iirc.)

Thanks

I was hoping that someone had made an adaptor or something, I don’t suppose you have any pics :D

I'll have a look when I get back home (currently in the pikey truck.)
