Hello
Just bought a gt750j 1972, frame number 20240 it's rough and needs work, but it came without a right footrest. I believe it mounts on the brake pedal lever, no visible signs of fitting holes for the other type... is there anyone out there to advise me on the footrest fitting arrangement through the mount, also I believe this year the rear footrests did not go through the exhaust mount holes, but through other frame holes. Just need pointing in the right direction!! Thanks in anticipation!!

Re: Rear brake
I thought that the rear pegs go through the exhaust bracket on that year only.
The rear brake lever does mount on the same bolt as the right footrest, so I would assume that the bolt is stepped.

Re: Rear brake
Thanks for the reply, I don't suppose anybody knows what frame number onwards, the right foot peg mount was changed from brake pedal to frame mounting.. hope that makes sense, some pics I see of a 72' 750 j have the brake lever mount , some have the frame mount... thanks. Guy
