I see so much stuff on the road here, large lengths of steel bar, builders waste, timber, leaking paint, extremely dangerous out there.
Pleased to hear you're okay Barney, after your scary experience, which unfortunately is happening more often.
I was driving on the M180 with my car full of kids and grandkids, when I spotted a 4 foot length of 4 inch x 2 inch steel in my lane, I couldn't avoid it but was at least ready for the inevitable. It punched a hole through both nearside tyres and alloys, but luckily I managed to keep control. Got to the hard shoulder to see a convoy of cars, all damaged similarly to mine, but amazingly nobody hurt???
It had fell off a lorry which was eventually traced and the driver prosecuted, could've been a lot worse
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
