Re: Dirt bikes
I had an early 60's Cotton Conquest, with a 250cc Villiers 2 stroke single engine, it had a Parkinson square barrel conversion and it could climb walls.
I had loads of fun with it but then made the crazy decision to register it for the road so I could use it for commuting to work.
The next crazy decision was selling it, like lots of other bikes I've sold over the years, that was a big mistake.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Re: Dirt bikes
Having never really done any off road riding, a few years ago i went with a mate who was into motocrossing. I had a couple of laps of this wooded circuit which was a little embarassing as i kept being lapped by these 14 yr old kids
I was surprised how difficult it was, although it looks easy. There was also the problem for a couple of weeks after every muscle in my body was aching
