The metalastic bushes in the top yoke of my bike are very soft and sloppy (there you go Alan an open goal for you)
As they are a bastard size I can’t find them anywhere and Suzuki bless em sell the yoke complete with bushes so they won’t supply them. The od of the originals are 23mm and the nearest I can find is 25mm so I bought two and attempted to turn the outer sleeve to the correct diameter. This was a mistake as the sleeve was only 1mm wall thickness, I managed to turn it off and then reduce the rubber diameter by 2mm. I then turned a sleeve up to the right size and after liberally coating the rubber with thick super glue I pressed the two pieces together. Fingers crossed I’ve sorted it. The photo shows the old bush on the right and the new one left.

Re: T500 top yoke bushes
The bushes are from AJS who supply spares for old Brit bikes. They are swing arm bushes for summat? Which seems odd to me but what do I know?
They are 25mm o/d (1 inch in old money)
I was going to bore the yoke out but some kind person gave me my boring head broken and I ain’t got round to repairing it yet

Seen those John but the I/d is only 10mm. The handlebar clamps have a 12mm stem.
Thanks anyway
