A boobtube hack that worked !
Probably well known to you old sweats but a new one on me.
Trying to get the taper bearing races out of the GS1000 frame with no way of getting at them to drive them out.
Looked for answers on t'internet
Welded a bolt across the race faces
Tapped out with a cold chisel.
Simples !

If you weld a bead around the bearing it will shrink it and it'll lift out easily
