Re: Project Tetanus....
Thanks Kev, your feedback during this build has been much appreciated The painter says that the pics don't near highlight the amount flake that's in the colours.
I do realise that this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I don't really care either as I'm too old to be seeking approval
The next project is a 1975 TS400, and after that I'm going to do another GT750..........And again with a different paint scheme.

Did you guys get the Apache in the UK? The pic below is what mine looked like when I first saw it on Gumtree where it had been parked for 30 years Pics under that is when I got it home and cleaned it up a bit.canaletto5 wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 9:25 am I've hankered after an Apache to restore for some time. It's mostly there but I'll need to source some gear. They're thin on the ground here and can be hard to get parts for
A '76 I hammered on in the late '70's and early 80's, Looking back I just want to slap myself sometimes

Here's one that I restored a long time ago, when parts were a LOT cheaper than they are now................
is that an after market long range tank on yours? Doesn't look like a TS400 tank.

Re: Project Tetanus....
Sunbury in VIC or is there one in new Sarf as well?
That is one amazing transformation. Well done.
The Apache would look nice with a modern pipe and would absolutely rip. I rode a mate's Ossa for a few months when they took my car license back when they forgot to ask if I had a bike license as well. On/Off road was a blast. One of my sons ran a few different XRs over the years too. same on road-off road shenanigans.
