Reported on other Forums, Ian Sandy author of the OJB site has passed away, a great loss to the Suzuki triple community

OMG what sad sad news. He was the bible for information and always happy to help. RIP Ian and thanks for everything. Condolences to his family.

That's so sad. Terrible news. I've had quite a bit of contact with Ian over the years. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Was just looking at his facebook page. He was posting about the finish of his GT380 project 3 weeks ago.

They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

That's hard to believe. Ian and I have exchanged information on GT750s for years. He even dropped in for a visit on a trip to the US a couple of years back.

Larger than life and always helpful and friendly. He will be missed.

Sad news indeed - I was supposed to meet Ian at Stafford a few years back but missed him when I went for a walk around the show - the non existent phone signal in there meant that the the other lads on the club stand couldn't get hold of me - a real loss in the classic bike scene RIP Ian
