gt550 grab rail

Post by johnakay »

cheap grab rail that some of you shouted about.
doesn't look to good does it and its not that old .
rust on it already. like everything else cheap for a reason.
those big drain holes ..these will fill up with water when washing your bike.
leave it standing and rust stains all over ya nice shiny rear guard.
I've had a couple of customers contacting me where best to get it re- chromed.

while I was at JMC Restorations .
he had a GT550 in there with the said grab rail.
what a shyt that is'
the welds were p*ss poor not even dressed up.
there were a few rough and sharp edges.
chrome didn't look to good either.
to some may think its sour grapes but I can assure you its not.
I've been wanting to retire for the last couple of years but keep getting ask to continue.
I only work in winter months if I've got nothing else to do.
I've cut down a lot of my stuffs.
I rarely do Kawasaki bikes and many other bikes now.
I only make the T/GT500,250,380 rails
racks GT 750.550,380,500 and 250 .
