Petcock bolt washers

Post by M1kee »

Does anyone know where I can buy new petcock bolt washers? There's a genuine Suzuki parts place on Ebay doing them for £1.40 but want £5 delivery?

I use ordinary bolts with bit of three bond applied to the threads - never had them leak

Do you have a hydraulic hose engineers local to you.? You need a couple of 6mm dowty washers, it will likely cost you less than 50 p :)

cheap fiber washers from the local hardware store work, but you can also buy dowty washers if you are more posh..

Last time I bought 6mm dowty washers on ebay I ordered 10 and was surpised that they shipped me 100. Check the unit of measure....
