Thanks for all the advice! I think the consensus is that the kettle is a heavy bike, some struggle, some find it pops on. I think there's a combination of technique and confidence, I'm getting there. What an amazing bike though, love it! Just put it into Ray Cowles for a carb balance, running slightly rough when cruising!

They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Check that the peg isn't bent downward. It should be parallel to the ground to give clearance.

Selwyn still owns and runs Ray Cowles, walking in there is like stepping back many years in time!
