In the meantime, I've had some lovely fish'n'chips in sunny Whitby today after donating a barrowload of assorted mainly imperial tools to the North Yorkshire Railway. Just waiting (in a pub) for the steam train to take us back to Grosmont.

Bacon, eggs & fizzy beer in Nerja, Spain - 29°C. It's a hard life but we're struggling through, so don't worry....

Re: Currently in.........and drinking..........
Today's task involved research. I decided to go on a fact finding tour today in Limon, here in Costa Rica - what sort of 'local' beer is available. After finding another [s]gullible victim[/s] willing volunteer to assist, we found a convivial place of liquid imbibement & sampled an Imperial Silver Label, which we agreed was quite quaffable - at 4.5% abv. While speaking to some locals who were doing their own similar survey, we took their advice & tried some Imperial Red Label. Which was also 4.5% and other than the label was indistinguishable from the first one...
Anyway they were both ok so, research completed, we off sodded back to the floating hotel for nosebag + an afternoon siesta, and anyway, the beer's free there.
Hard work this retirement stuff, and it's up in the high 30s°C again. Bugger!!!

In Grand Cayman. Similar temperatures to yesterday in Jamaica, (28° C sea temp & 30+°C air temp) so we have to cover up somewhat to avoid being crozzled.
Cuba next....
