Kettle Clinic

My pal with the B model has an intermittent fault with his gear indicator, it seems to work when the bike is cold but goes erratic when it heats up this would suggest to me the problem is most likely with the switch on the engine what is the history on these units.

Sorted sprayed the switch with electro cleaner and its now working fine.
