Hi people
I broken my kick axle and want to change it, but im hoping to avoid taking the cylinders off since it just recently been redone.
Is it possible to turn the engine upside down and split the block, and getting it back together that way?
Thanks for your answers.

Thanks for your answer and my name is Tom.
What would be the hardest part if i open it upside down? the shiftforks and such? i can give it a whirl, but dont wanna end up with a gearbox mess either.

We tried this with a kettle many years ago and it proved almost impossible, the locating dowels C rings all sorts of issues def not recommended.. I have rebuild 16x 550 engines just not going to happen.
