Pleasure meeting you & your lady wife, John.
The 550B looks like a good fit with your nice ‘fleet’!
Take care,
Mike

Re: Naughty step GT550B
I should know better. The "naughty step" GT550 is now living in Yorkshire. I've gone from Black to Blue and A to B. I sold my 550A in July having owned it for 14 years, after it too had been on and off the naughty step. After two rebuilds I was still not confident in the long term with the motor. Still had a top end rattle and some vibration. A chance conversation with a "collector" who lives nearby and it was sold. I immediately began to miss having a Suzuki GT though.
A message and a phone call with John, and Mikes' Naughty Step 550B was on its way to Yorkshire. Not had a ride yet, but its running well in the garage ! Setting off on hol today so not going to get a chance for a ride till I get back. Its a well known bike to some forum members (Alan, Baz and maybe others). Fingers crossed it stays off the Naughty Step for me.
Cheers
Paul

Re: Naughty step GT550B
Lots of work been done on it and when I fitted the 'none nikasil' nikasil barrels it felt really good. Only up to 3500rpm mind, but it justt wanted to 'go' then.
Baz finished the job later, so hopefully you've got a good 'un.
Lots of info about it if you trawl through Mike's posts.
