Guys,
The tyres on my new 1978 GT500 are rather knobbly looking Dunlop Roadmasters which I’m not keen on.
The sizes are;
Front 3.60 x 19
Rear 4.10 x 18
Can anyone suggest a better looking alternative.
And another thing !
I don’t like the Dunlop Roadmasters on the bike.
What do you guys use.
I’m not sure if the ones on it are the right size. 3.60 x 19 front, and 4.10 x 18 rear.
Bob

Re: GT500 Tyres
I put Bridgestone BT45 on my T500 and my Kettle, cracking tyres. There’s a new replacement available now in the BT46, supposed to offer better wet weather grip? I don’t do wet weather so I can’t comment
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Re: GT500 Tyres
I need a new rear BT45 on FAB, but have been told by my local bike shop that there's a shortage of stock in the UK, due to the Bridgestone factory being closed because of the covid lockdown. Good job I've got another bike, because the wheel's now out the kettle while I wait for the dealer to call me.PaulD738 wrote:There’s a new replacement available now in the BT46, supposed to offer better wet weather grip?
So does anyone have any feedback on the new BT46? I read a brief report in CMM a while back but nothing since and wondered if they're available yet.
Cheers Steve W.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

It's unbelievable that I've asked a question that you don't know the answer to professor.
