After much waiting for parts and getting wrong ones sent, finally managed to get enough 'stuff' together to get the pistons with nearly new gudgeon pins, new little ends (thanks Baz) and Kawasaki gudgeon pin clips installed, barrels on and head fitted and torqued down. Hopefully if the weather holds something like, it may be running in a few days.

Soon. The carbs are at Baz's getting prettied.
Fortunately I have a 'spare set' - as you do.

Well, the silicone tubing for the SRIS system came - the old black stuff was quite brittle and well past it's best - so I got that fitted yesterday. A couple of 'holder inner' brackets to fit when they come out of the derusting fluid and all's good. Ram air cowl on and spare carbs now fitted and cables set. The carb rubbers are quite a good fit - Steve would no doubt call them 'tight' for some reason, but with a small strap round the back of the carbs and front of the barrels, they ratchet strapped on easily.
Gave the frame & wheels a clean and then sorted some Yeti stuff out (info elsewhere eventually).
I think both 200s will be moved on soon, as I could do with the room, so a bit of fettling there and away they'll go. I do like them, but prefer the bigger bikes.

Proscale 650. Citric + phosphoric acid, so treat with respect!
I daresay that Trump will claim it cures coronavirus as well!!
Got it from Baz, as usual.

Connected the oil pump & bled the feed from the tank, battery on, plugs out & spin the motor. Hmmm, only three oil pipes getting throughput. Check pump and there seems to be a problem in that a pump piston may be seized. Not sure if that pump came off the A or the J, so better to find out now I suppose.
Checked another pump from the spares box and this works ok, so cleaned the outside and flushed the inside with green oil (red oil in the tank) pump on and spin the engine again. Looks to be pumping through all 6 pipes, but battery getting fed up so put everything away & battery on charge. Might make up some 'lightweight' jump leads to the spare leisure battery in the garage tomorrow to extend the motobatt's ability to spin the engine for extended periods. Thank gawd for lekky starts!
Noted different numbers on the oil pumps, so might have to do a report for Ian on OJB.

I take the pump off the motor with all the lines connected and turn the drive with a screwdriver bit in my battery powered drill, simples like me
