Cheers mate, still progressing slower than I'd like as I can't spend long on it at a time.
Your knee seems to have made a good enough recovery
I wish! A couple of hours in the garage is all I can do at the mo'. Hurts like a barsteward then so I have to take 'medication'.
Have you made up your mind on the colour scheme yet??
Yep. Black with red metallic fleck. Should have paintwork back soon.

If it were my knee, I'd probably choose 'flesh colour'. But thats me, a traditionalist to the toes. And knees :-)

Sorted the front wheel out - it was slightly binding where the 'cowl' goes over the edge of the speedo drive. Wizzed a few mm off and it fits nice. Front discs now locked with some of Ians' blingy locking tabs - back still to do. New sprocket to fit so that can be done at the same time.
Genny brushes fitted - got some of THESE (clicky) for £2.99 and as they were slightly oversized, rubbed them down slightly and fitted a treat. Only used one as plenty left on t'other.
Might buy a few and put them on eblob at a tenner apiece!!

Yep. They were about 5.5 x 6.25mm and needed to be about 4.9 (or so) mm - can't remember exactly.
Just rubbed them gently on 1200 rubbing paper and kept measuring.
Took about 5 minutes, so for the sake of a bit of time, it only cost £2.99 for two brushes, and I've still got one as a spare.
Anyone who pays more wants their bumps feeling.

Just got the paintwork back. It looks ace but unfortunately the pics don't do it full justice.
I'm highly chuffed. Just popped some of the bits on for a look, so here they are.
Hopefully, weather permitting so I can get the other stuff outside the garage, engine in this weekend. Then the fun will REALLY get under way!!
