A bit late replying Roger, but that's a cracking photo of Barry back in his Suzuki Ambassador days and doing his advertising duties with a kettle.

I actually met him in the UK during one of his last trips here, what a character and sadly missed.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Ah but this is the bike he actually rode.... a GT550. Barry with his Mum at his home in Wisbech in 1974.

He always loved cats, and had a lot of pics taken with cats sat on the bikes
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

There's a video on the net of him riding a Maui Blue 750A reg no.is PGN17P which is still around according to DVLA site - just imagine if it was in your garage
