Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

G'day Richard. Nice bikes. I hadn't seen the Tr replica before. That is gorgeous. Care to share the source of those pipes? They must be as noisy as all F@*k. A tuned GT with chambers is noisy enough. I took our RD350/TZ750 drag bike to the strip for shakedown runs a few weeks ago. It has chambers with stingers - no mufflers and everyone seemed to cover their ears when I revved it up. Cannot imagine how painful a triple must be with stingers.

More details please.

Yes painful for sure . I had a 3 into 4 set of expansion chambers made for a GT750 . Thought the idea was good - even had a plan to have 50 sets made . I fitted them to a standard Kettle . I took it out for a ride and pulled up at a set of Traffic Lights opposite a school - the children on the playground put their hands over their ears as I pulled away from the lights !!!!

I get my pipes custom made for the Special's I build normally, following the TR spec of length and chamber sizes . Most of the UK Tracks operate a 85db or if you go on a 'no limits' Track day they set a limit of 105db level.
