Hi, I have just started to look at the front end.p
With the Haynes manual open I started to take
apart the forks only there is no screwed fork cap
just a circular boss retained by a circlip which I
have removed but the boss is stuck and wont budge.
My phone has died so no pics at the moment, the only
markings on the lower fork leg are Made in Japan
and underneath a Suzuki S with a 6 followed by a capital W
followed by 1.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Front Forks -GT or Not GT?
If I remember correctly the forks you have there are are for M, A & B models. The plug can be quite difficult to get out if it’s corroded. You need to ensure the plug is square in the tube whilst applying pressure on the stanchion.
Let us know how you get on.
