Rubber bungs

Hi,
I have just look at a under the seat of another kettle and it looked like there was a rubber bung Covering the bolts on each side of the oil tank filler ,
Are they meant to be there and if so where can I buy them from

Do you mean the rubber grommets which the battery box mounting bolts run through?
You can get these from Robinson’s, I believe.

I’m not sure my m8 just brought a gt 750 b so don’t know if it’s the same he’s just sent over a picture

As the guys mentioned, all the (up to A) bikes I have stripped or rebuilt or modified have a rubber grommet there with a through spacer to isolate the battery from vibration.

09320-08011 (Cushion) and09180-06040 (spacer). I suspect that someone added those later.

Me neither Malky thought seat rubber cushions where fixed to the base of the seat unless a "B" model differs :?:
