Like most 3 into 1 systems, they seem to make the bike smoother which people translate as more torque but most likely loses top end power. But much lighter than OEM and that helps at any speed.

I'm in Australia, and had one on my 1st Waterbucket in 1977. I didn't have anything to compare it to at the time, but I loved it. The bike would still do 200kph (redline in top gear), and would happily trundle around at 1000rpm. The sound was awesome. Very noisy when the baffle disintegrated on a ride across Australia in 1980. Wish I had one now for the bike I've just bought. Cheers, Mike
