suzuki 750gt GEAR POSITION SENSOR

Post by GMZ91 »

I there, I've got an issue on my Kettle with the secondary transmission chain which jumped out of the rear sprocket.
Unfortunately the gear position sensor screws have been snatched and the female threads are damaged so I'm no longer able to screw it again.
Did anyone encountered such a failure and how did you revoverd it please ?
Thanks for any feed back and help.

If the threads are stripped, try helicoil thread repair. Or drill and tap to the next size.

Worst case scenario, if the crankcases are badly damaged they can be welded and machined but that should not be necessary for a thread repair.
