Hi
I'm seriously considering transplanting a GT380 into this
As you can see its about as far from a FZS600 as you can get but recently I've been thinking what it really needs is a different engine, most fourstrokes wont fit as the Fazer engines a pretty compact powerplant, so this got me thinking twostroke and GT380. OK so probably less than half the power, but the noise, got to be a good enough reason on its own.
So has anyone got an engine on the bench they can measure, length's probably going to be my biggest hurdle so just overall crancase length and width to start and will have a quick measure up and see if there's any chance of it fitting
Thanks in advance

The 550 engine is similar size and more powerful, that might be a better bet.
I can't get measurements yet as I'm on hols, but give me a couple of days.

Hopefully, I'll get the Earwig on the dyno later this month so we'll see what different exhausts do.
