If a bike is no longer registered on the DVLA website is there anyway of tracing its current whereabouts other than posting on forums like this?
I’m thinking the DVLA may have a list of previous owners including the last one but they would be reluctant to divulge any details with all the data protection we have nowadays.

Re: Finding an old bike
I believe that if you can prove previous title to a vehicle and write to them, they'll provide details. They do charge for the service, so as you're a typical ex waggin driving tightarsedgit, I suspect that'll stymie that idea.

I did contact the DVLA but they weren’t very clear about anything. I can’t find the email they sent me. Basically they don’t want to know
