Meanwhile in Vegas....The 2nd Suzuki Gt750 is coming along. The crank was balanced and the cylinders bored .5mm over and the head was decked. New pistons, rings, seals, water pump rebuilt, etc. The OEM fasteners were re-zinced in my shop. the frame is at the powder coating shop and should be done soon.

My 74 Suzuki GT750 wheels, hubs & tires are done. I re-spoked them myself using OEM spokes and was able to true within 0.2 - 0.4 mm. It was not easy the first time but it can be done. If you need to make original chrome like new again, use Bonderite diluted to 4;1 with water & 0000 steel wool They came out fantastic!

Carb time
Armed with the DVD from Baz I was able to tackle the carbs. I had the bits vapor blasted and all new wear components replaced with new bits. I treated the carb bodies to "Boeshield" and should keep any corrosion and allow the appearance to last longer. I found two different jets clogged and unclogged them successfully. Apparently this happens a lot with these carbs. All new brass, O rings gaskets, etc internally now. All ports tested and spray like new. Assembly took longer than expected but they are in much better shape and should work fine.
