Is that dark black, or a Canalettoconcoctioncolour?

Very nice!

I was toying with the idea of building a GT750EC as it would look if Suzuki had actually built one in 1979/80. Pretty much along the lines of the GS but with a 3 into 2 exhaust which can be derived/adapted from the earlier 'balanced' exhausts.

Intriguing idea. Have you got a donor bike for the project? Kev

No I haven't. Was going to do it with the one I'm currently restoring but decided to go the standard route.
I guess it should be reasonable to do given that most parts other than the engine itself will be GS and therefore command GS prices rather than GT prices.
Maybe one day!

I get it

A GT750 lump in a GS750 frame . That will give the rivet counters a heart attack

Hopefully!
My GT550 with GS550 wheels (3 discs) and a GS550 swing arm usually sets 'em off quite well!

Took the bike out for it's first road run (only 18 months late  )

Bit grumpy to start with but once the throat cleared rode very well. Lovely smooth bike to ride these.

Looks a treat Kev, very underrated the 750, everyone wants the 1000. I think the 750 is nicer to ride and a lot smoother.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
A quote from my old dad 8-)

I started out with nothing and I’ve got most of it left!
