WTB: 750 J/K Exhaust clamp/flange(14182-31001)

Post by rodent »

If anyone has one laying around that they'd care to sell I'd be interested, it must be usable and needing re-chroming is fine.
Yes I know there are reproductions available.

Hi, my experience with these clamps is that they can warp with heat & age, & over ride the thread on the pipe,
I had a constant leak from the exhaust port, bought new pipe flange & cured the problem ;)
Cheers.

Roger, as I've had no love looking for these things I bought some repro's, I've gotta say that the chrome finish is less than desirable and I will get them re-done.

I spoke with the seller about them and told him that it's great to have a repro available, but I'd rather pay a bit more to have a better chrome finish.

Hi, absolutely, the ones I bought from Suzuki, are holding up nicely, chrome was good & cured the leak, just made sure to give them a little gap between exhaust clamp & barrel when tight, will leak if you don't :!:
Cheers.
