Motobatt Battery

Post by Roger Ackery »

;) Just found my receipt for my Kettle's Motobatt Battery, a staggering 6 years old & performing like new, spins the motor & starts every time, is this a record ?
I've never known a battery to last so long,
Car, Bike, Truck, I do put it on the charger if not going to use the bike for longer than 2 weeks, I don't know if this helps with longevity
Cheers.

Hi Roger. Mine is four years old and still as strong as the day i bought it. No need to put it on a tender unless your bike has a clock or something that drains the battery.

I sold my Bandit earlier this year, battery was 8 years old(from the factory) and still cranked fine. I also have an Optima in my Chevelle which I bought in 2003, it also still cranks fine :)
