I saw on the telly you had rain today and wondered what you were all gonna do with yourselves, I needn't have worried
I am very envious of your Ireland trip on the bikes though, it's just the kind of therapy I need right now. Oh well it wont be long till the Yorkshire do, can't wait.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Looks like the sun's shining Alan, when did that happen? cos all I've seen on the weather reports is rain, rain, rain.

Hi lads, are you still in Ireland/Eire? and has it been a good week for riding/whiskey sampling?
I've felt a bit sorry for you all each time I saw the weather forecast, which continually showed RAIN :( Perhaps with Big Johns guidance you've managed to dodge the worst of the wet stuff.
Not long now till the Yorkshire rally, which hopefully will be a lot drier, really looking forward to this one, although my plans for setting off early on the Thursday have just been slightly scuppered, with a letter from thospital for a pre op' assessment at 1PM. Hopefully I'll be sorted quickly and on the road before teatime.

Home safe & sound. More details to come after a serious Baz session (nap)!
790 (mostly) trouble free miles on the hippo, unless you count the battery shagging (new Nuala word!) itself and the satnav throwing the teddy out of the cot a few times. Other than that, I need some new gloves as the old ones aren't waterproof (mind you it did pee down a LOT!) and the bike needs a serious clean.

Thanks to Baz for swapping batteries so that I could use the lekky start again - we'll see if the Motobatt really is knackered or just having a hissy fit. And possibly the satnav is soggy, or the wiring is, or summat else that won't cost owt to sort.

Lovely week with good company although Scotch went very quiet the last day, so maybe he's preggers or similar  or just run out of things to say?
I daresay Cas will keep us updated on this situation.

Thanks to John and Nuala for arranging it all and helping to keep the distilleries and breweries in Ireland employed.
Pity Richard doesn't drink, or I'm sure he'd have helped too.
