Been out to Messingham near Scunthorpe today, to present Steve (Mutley) with the best bike trophy, for his amazing special Kettle.
Well done Steve and a well deserved award, voted for unanimously by all who were present for the vote.
There's a few piccies below of Steve with his bike and trophy.
No prizes for spotting any missing parts (from the bike that is) which were damaged when Steve had his little mishap (say no more ) at the rally on Friday.
Just got to post the slowest rider trophy now (also in my suitcase ) so when the lucky??? recipient receives it, please ask on here why you're the winner.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

And after everyone else had bogged off on the Sunday, Mike, Steve, Lynn & I went to Guy Martin's pub in the next village for a lamb carvery.

You're enough to drive anyone to drink!!!Alan H wrote:Whatever was Steve drinking? The silly old MOO!!!
But probably too tight to pay for it.

Re: Lincolnshire rally 2020
Big thanks to everyone I had the pleasure to ride with on the Friday of the 2020 rally.
Really enjoyed myself I even though I had a little mishap got away quite luckily no major damage only a broken alternator casing.
Also a big thankyou for voting for my bike and the trophy.

Steve & everyone,
I had a great time. Thanks for the help & friendliness. Not like that darn sarf (joking!). GSX cleaned, Kettle looking fed up off at me
See you in Wales!
Mike (Canterbury is a bloody long way from everywhere, except France)

Re: Lincolnshire rally 2020
Thanks for coming all that way Mike, good to see you again and looking fit and healthy??? Been a bit bored since the rally, which means we must've had a really good time, boredom probably due to the lockdown too, which seems to be going on and on, and all the bike nights in Lincolnshire being cancelled for 2020.
Got every last bit of life out of the rear tyre on the rally, so not been on mine since I got home. Been doing some serious maintenance and cleaning on FAB since then and took the rear wheel out and finally got it re-shod with a new BT46. (See other thread)
All put back together now and ready for the Newark autojumble on the 16th, It'd better not rain again after all that cleaning. And lo and behold, as I wrote that last sentence the heavens just opened in Grimsby.
