Re: Suzuki GT550 1972 fuel cock issue
So i have found a repair kit for the whole tap which also includes the problematic O ring that sits on the end of the diaphragm piston. This is the cause of most leaks. The company is in Germany and i have used them in the past.

Just a little tip. When you get the new gaskets clean the inside face of the lever with chrome cleaner to make it smooth. Otherwise if it is rough it will wear the new gasket quickly.

Just made a good 'un out of 2 mediocre 'uns for the 550J and it's leak free. Got some bits if you need any.

Re: Suzuki GT550 1972 fuel cock issue
Quick update: I ordered the genuine seal on the eBay link suggested which was part number 44341-33151 to take gamble but as I thought it doesn't fit !! must be for the 1974 forward.
So I am back to searching for a solution so is there any options out there to get a seal or retrofit a new part etc...
Crazy the bikes off the road for one simple little item
Many thanks for all your help
John

Hi Kev,
Yes this the one I ordered and they sent me a different one saying Suzuki had superseded it to this new number !!
Hopefully someone may have an idea to get me out of a hole
